Kerrang Award adalah ajang penghargaan tahunan Inggris yang dibuat majalah musik Kerrang!. Acara ini sudah mulai diadakan sejak tahun 1993.Acara ini selalu disajikan oleh selebriti musik besar, dengan banyak orang lain di luar industri yang menghadiri acara, kadang-kadang menyajikan penghargaan. Mungkin peristiwa yang paling terkenal tahun terakhir adalah upacara tahun 2000, di mana Slipknot membakar meja mereka setelah memenangkan “Best Band di Dunia”. Slipknot adalah band dengan penghargaan Kerrang! Awards terbanyak yaitu 7 piala. Disusul kemudian Lostprophets dan Marilyn Manson yang sudah mengantongi 5 piala. Banyak perusahaan internasional terkenal seperti Island Records, Orange Electronic Musik Perusahaan dan Marshall Amplifikasi terlibat dalam sponsor dari berbagai kategori penghargaan.
Nominasi Kerrang! Awards 2010 telah diumumkan. Band Paramore dan 30 Seconds to Mars bersaing ketat dengan masing-masing empat nominasi yang sama: Best Album, Best Live Band, Best Video dan Best International Band.30 Seconds to Mars menjagokan video klip ‘Kings and Queens’ dan album ‘This is War’. Sementara Paramore nongkrong di nominasi yang sama dengan video klip ‘Brick by Boring Brick’ dan album ‘Brand New Eyes’. Vokalis 30 seconds to Mars, Jared Leto mengatakan bahwa grupnya sangat berterima kasih kepada semua yang telah vote mereka. dia juga menambahkan “It’s no secret that we have a very special relationship with a wonderful family of vagabonds travelling the world with us”.
Hayley Williams,salah satu anggota Paramore juga mengatakan “We’re so stoked our fans voted for us in all these categories. I’m especially excited to be nominated for Best Live Band. That means the world!”.
Acara final akan digelar pada 29 Juli 2010 di London. Nama-nama band lain seperti Green Day, Metallica, Lostprophets, Bullet for My Valentine, You Me at Six pun ikut berkompetisi di ajang tahunan tersebut.
